Chris Waters, AutoCAD, has been with Odom Engineering since 2000, and will celebrate 20 years in March 2020. He is the Senior Auto CAD Technician and has taken part in other roles with the company including Project Management, Planning and Design, Hec-Ras Flood Study evaluations, Dam Breach analysis, Watercad System models, Arc-Gis layouts, data collection, office IT, and site inspections.
Before joining Odom Engineering Chris's experiences included modular home layout/design, environmental engineering and surveying. Chris has an Associates Degree in Mechanical Drafting Technology, and presently working towards a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology at Western Carolina University.
Chris is married to his lovely wife Tracy and enjoys spending time together, taking unplanned trips and riding bicycles together, all while taking care of 2 Beagle puppies and 2 cats. Chris is actively involved in the Rutherford County Woodworkers Club as Vice President, and volunteers for Hudlow Fire and Rescue and Union Mills Volunteer fire departments as Firefighter/EMT. He previously served as President of the Rutherford County Fire Rescue Association. Other hobbies you can find Chris partaking are relaxing with woodworking, fishing, hunting, or just spending quality time with family.
